8.H. CONSIDERATION OF HOURLY RATE INCREASE FOR DAY LABOR SERVICES <br />BID 2012006, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, ROAD AND BRIDGE <br />DIVISION <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board unanimously: <br />(1) accepted the request for the hourly rate increase and <br />authorized the Purchasing Manager to renew this bid for <br />one (1) additional one (1) year period at the revised hourly <br />rate, subject to satisfactory performance, vendor <br />acceptance, and the determination that renewal of this <br />annual bid is in the best interest of Indian River County; <br />and (2) authorized the Purchasing Division to issue <br />blanket purchase orders at the new hourly rate for the <br />penod beginning the date of Board authorization through <br />September 30, 2013 with MDT Personnel, LLC, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of February 5, 2013. <br />8.1. APPROVAL OF RELEASE OF RETAINAGE FOR TASKS 3.01 AND 4.01 OF <br />WORK ORDER No. L-1 AND TASK CO2 -2 OF CHANGE ORDER No. 2 WITH <br />G.K. ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. FOR EGRET MARSH STORMWATER PARK <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board unanimously approved <br />release of retainage to G.K. Environmental, Inc., held <br />through calendar year 2012 for Egret Marsh Stormwater <br />Park, Tasks 3.01 and 4.01 of Work Order No L-1, and <br />Task CO2 -2 of Change Order No. 2, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of January 31, 2013. <br />February 12, 2013 8 <br />BK 143 PG 501 <br />
