The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board* (1) approved in <br />concept the projected Five -Year Plan for the replacement <br />of front line fire rescue vehicles; (2) a Budget Amendment <br />in the amount of $700,000 from Optional Sales Tax <br />Reserves for the purchase of three (3) replacement <br />ambulances; and (3) additional capital necessary to <br />provide Fire Rescue Services for the current fiscal year, all <br />as recommended in the memorandum of February 12, <br />2014. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Zorc to direct <br />staff to purchase four (4) defibrillator units, using District <br />Funds. MOTION DIED for lack of a Second. <br />Administrator Baird advised that four defibrillator units would cost about $120,000. <br />Commissioner Solari suggested this item be tabled to the next Board of County <br />Commission meeting so it can be properly noticed. <br />Staff agreed, and Commissioner Zorc withdrew his motion. <br />12.H.
