Child Population <br />Table 3 shows the child population in 2013 by age and sex. There were 28,574 individuals 0-19 years <br />of age in Indian River who accounted for 20.1 % of the county's population. In comparison to the state, <br />Indian River has a smaller percentage of child residents.
