She encouraged ratepayers to send e-mails of support <br />to both the City Council and Mayor Richard Winger, prior to the March 19th City of Vero Beach <br />Utilities/Finance Commission meeting. She said Mayor Winger would be meeting with FMPA <br />on April 2nd, and that this would be brought back to the City Council meeting on April 15th, <br />unless there is a Special Call meeting prior to that date. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Zorc, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher, to direct staff to <br />bring a Resolution to the Board reiterating the Board's <br />support of the proposed sale of the City of Vero Beach <br />Electric Utility by the City of Vero Beach, to Florida <br />Power and Light (FPL) Company. <br />Glenn Heran, 1964 Grey Falcon Circle Southwest, Board Appointee to the <br />Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Committee, a subcommittee of the <br />Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC), thanked FPL for their support during the <br />ongoing process of seeking lower rates.
