WEST WABASSO SEWER AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 <br />IMPACT FEE REFUNDS - UCP 4078 <br />Capital Projects Manager Arjuna Weragoda provided background regarding the <br />construction of the centralized sewer system completed in July of 2013, in the West Wabasso <br />community, and recalled that when the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) completed <br />their field monitoring visit, they found that the County had incorrectly charged impact fees on <br />ten low and moderate income households. He requested the Board authorize a refund of impact <br />fees to those households, and the use of the General Fund Reserve for Contingency. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously approved: <br />(1) the use of General Fund Reserve for Contingency to <br />cover $28,000 in Impact Fees; and (2) the necessary <br />budget amendment, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of March 3, 2014. <br />13.
