Minutes of September 25th special meeting were read and the same approved upon <br />i, <br />Motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried. <br />Commissioners Waddell and Hamilton were appointed a committee to investigate <br />the Porhorsky property. <br />It is agreed that all members and representatives of the Board who could, should <br />attend the Mid -Winter Converence of the State Association of County Commissioners to be held <br />at hinter Haven October 10 11 and 12th, expenses to be paid by the County. <br />Mrs. Anne Christensen, County Welfare Case Worker, made a report of her activi-' <br />ties for the Month of September which was filed with the Clerk. <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />To Troy E. J. P. Hamilton, <br />and carried, <br />were approved, and. <br />the County of Indian River: <br />the Warrants <br />to each of said rolls were annexed thereto and is <br />in words and <br />figures following: <br />You are hereby commanded <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />To Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector of <br />the County of Indian River: <br />You are hereby commanded <br />to collect out of the real estate and personal pro- <br />perty, and from each of the persons <br />and corporations named in the annexed rolls, the taxes <br />set down .in each roll opposite each <br />name, corporation or parcel of land therein described, andil <br />in case taxes so imposed are not paid <br />at the time prescribed by law, you are to collect the <br />same by levy and sale of the goods <br />and chattels, lands and tenements so assessed, or of the <br />person or corporation so taxed; and <br />all sums collected for the State taxes you are to pay to <br />the State Treasurer at such time as <br />may be required by law, and at the same time you are to <br />pay to the legally qualified Depository <br />all sums collected for county taxes, district school <br />taxes and other special taxes; and <br />i <br />you are further required to make all collections on or <br />i <br />before the first Monday in April; and <br />on or before the first Monday in July you will make a � <br />i <br />final report to and settlement with <br />the Comptroller and County Commissioners. !i <br />�l <br />Given under my hand <br />and seal this the 6th day of October, in the year A.
