<br />Road Department has requested
<br />this County Board to designate
<br />also the purpose for which, and the
<br />roads on which, this County's
<br />80% surplus gas tax and
<br />Federal laid Secondary allocations
<br />should be spent for construction
<br />and improvement; and,
<br />•
<br />WHEREAS, the State
<br />Road Department is required by
<br />law to adopt an annual budget
<br />of maintenance and construction work
<br />designed to use all except
<br />ten percent of its antici-
<br />pated income during the year, which
<br />budget must be set up in January
<br />and adopted in February
<br />of each year; and,
<br />_ EREAS, the State
<br />Road Department cannot prepare
<br />and adopt a bud(,,et until it
<br />has ascertained and determined the
<br />desire of the Board of County
<br />Commissioners, in the form of
<br />a Resolution, as to how this County's
<br />Secondary Road funds should
<br />be used; Now, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED that
<br />the State Road Department of
<br />Florida is hereby requested
<br />and directed to use such funds on
<br />the following projects in the
<br />order of their designation
<br />as follows, to -wit:
