Vice Chairman O'Bryan wondered whether the Ordinance should be structured to include <br />a requirement for a minimum width of 20 feet for the haul routes that would qualify for the LDR <br />change. <br />A brief discussion ensued among the Board, with input from Director Boling, after which <br />it was decided to make no change to the proposed Ordinance. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />Bob Johnson, Coral Winds Subdivision, asked whether the proposed LDR change <br />should be restricted to dirt roads west of I-95. <br />Director Boling responded that it was conceivable that the LDR amendment could apply <br />to some areas east of I-95, and said that he preferred to keep the Ordinance as structured. <br />Aaron Bowles, MBV Engineering, 1835 20th Street, invited questions from the Board. <br />There were none <br />There being no additional speakers, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Solari, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 2012-012, concerning amendments to its Land <br />Development Regulations (LDRs); providing for <br />amendments to Chapter 934, Excavation and Mining, by <br />amending Mining Traffic and Nuisance Mitigation <br />Standards Section 934.06(4); and by providing for repeal <br />of conflicting provisions; codification; severability; and <br />effective date. <br />May 22, 2012 15 <br />BK 142 PG 489 <br />
