Chairman Flescher declared that the proposed ordinance is fair compensation for the <br />many years of educational taxes those seniors have paid, and continue to pay. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Flescher, by a 3-2 vote (Commissioners <br />O'Bryan and Solari opposed) the Board authorized the <br />County Attorney's Office to advertise for a public hearing <br />to consider adoption of the final proposed ordinance, <br />allowing an additional property tax homestead exemption <br />of $25,000 for qualifying senior citizens. <br />13.
