Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan <br />14. C 1. PROCLAMATION POLICY <br />Commissioner O'Bryan recalled the lack of overall support from the Commissioners <br />regarding the Humanist Proclamation presented to the Board on June 11, 2013. In an effort to <br />reduce potential future conflicts, he did some research and made the following motion for Board <br />approval. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Solan, to adopt a single <br />Proclamation to recognize individual religious groups. <br />After discussion and hearing comments from Commissioner Solari regarding the date for <br />the Proclamation, a consensus was reached. <br />There was a Board CONSENSUS to ask Commissioner <br />Solari to do further research and to prepare a draft of a single <br />Proclamation to bring back for further Board action. <br />June 18, 2013 22 <br />BK ' k3 PG 969 <br />
