APPROVAL OF AUCTION SALE PRICE FOR OLD FIRE STATION # 9 <br /> A UCTION DATE: MONDAY, .TUNE 20, 2011 <br /> Management and Budget Director Jason Brown reported that the auction for former Fire <br /> Station 9 , located at 1640 US 1 in Sebastian, was held on Monday, June 20 , 2011 . He conveyed <br /> that the final auction price was $ 160 , 000 to the County, and that in accordance with <br />Florida <br /> Statutes Chapter 125 , the Board needs to ratify the sale and authorize the Chairman to execute <br /> the closing contract . <br /> Commissioner O ' Bryan commended auctioneers Karlin Daniel & Associates for <br /> procuring a good price for the surplus property, which was purchased by Richard Peacock. <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis , SECONDED by <br /> Commissioner O ' Bryan, the Board unanimously ratified • <br /> and accepted the winning bid for the former fire-rescue <br /> Station 9 surplus property, as recommended in the <br /> memorandum of June 15 , 2011 . <br /> DOCUMENTS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> 12.
