<br />Administrator Baird announced that the current budget is $2,478,552, and the proposal
<br />for next year is $983,662, minus $1,494,890 for Senior Resources Grant money (Metropolitan
<br />Planning Organization), a decrease of $1,494,890, or 60.3%.
<br />Administrator Baird announced the following 2013-2014 proposed recommendations for
<br />the Quasi Non -Profit Organizational budgets:
<br />• Senior Resource - $475,124, same as last year
<br />• Senior Resource Grants — $0, a decrease of $1,494,890
<br />• Gifford Youth Activity Center- $85,536, same as last year
<br />• Progressive Civic League- $12,185, same as last year
<br />• Humane Society - $395,547, same as last year
<br />• Treasure Coast Homeless Services- recommended $15,270, same as last year.
<br />LAND ACQUISITION BONDS - 2004 REFERENDUM
<br />Administrator Baird said the Land Acquisition Bond — 2004 Referendum proposed
<br />budget for 2013-2014 is $4,767,191, an increase of $12,446; and the proposed millage rate is
<br />0.3788, a deduction of 0.0011. He said this is to pay for the $50 million debt service Land
<br />Acquisition Bonds.
