Vice Chairman O ' Bryan sought and received information from staff regarding the <br /> County ' s Medicaid backlog numbers . <br /> John Romano , President/CEO of New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, thanked the <br /> Board for their support over the years , and conveyed that from Jul 1 2011 through <br /> Y Y � g June 30 , <br /> 2012 , his organization provided $ 3 . 2 million in services , which is about 40 , 000 units of service . <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICER <br /> Sheriff Deryl Loar thanked the Board of County Commissioners, staff, and the <br /> employees at the Sheriff' s office for maintaining their commitment and patience in moving <br /> forward through the recession. He informed the Board that there is capital in his budget, and that <br /> not only did his office cut the budget, but revenues and grants were also down . He recognized <br /> the private partnerships , non-profits, and vendors for helping him to reduce his budget. <br /> CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICERS <br /> Administrator Baird thanked the Constitutional Officers for their support and cooperation <br /> in reducing the General Fund . He reported that the overall recommendation for the <br /> Constitutional Officers in the General Fund is $43 , 408 , 797, a decrease of $ 1 , 563 , 319, or 3 . 5 % . <br /> He listed the Constitutional Officers ' budgets as follows : <br /> Clerk of Court : $ 927 , 889 , a reduction of $ 31 , 905 , 3 . 3 % <br /> Tax Collector : $ 1 ,265 , 104 , same as last year <br /> Property Appraiser : $2 ,220 , 770 , a reduction of $ 36 , 961 , 1 . 6 % <br /> Sheriff: $ 37, 865 , 984 , a reduction of $ 1 , 387 , 032 , 3 . 6% <br /> Judy' l 8 , 2012 14 8K 142 PG 770 <br />
