JOHNS RIVER ALLIANCE APPLICATION FOR BL UE WAYDESIGNATION <br />REQUEST FOR LETTER OF SUPPORT <br />Vice Chairman Davis, Board Member of the St. Johns River Alliance, requested that the <br />Board send a letter of support to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) <br />Office of Greenways and Trails (OGT), asking for the St. Johns River to be designated as a <br />paddling trail and part of the State's Blueway System. <br />July 2, 2013 <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute a letter of support to <br />the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, on <br />behalf of the St. Johns River Alliance, requesting that the <br />St. Johns River be designated as a paddling trail and part <br />of the State's Blueway System, as requested in the <br />memorandum of July 2, 2013. <br />29 <br />'144 PG 042 <br />
