Kelly. Upon completion and <br /> approval of the construction work and receipt of all liens , <br /> the County will issue a joint check to Mr . INITIAL BOARD REVIEW OF COMMITTEE TERMS ISSUES <br /> Attorney Polackwich, through review of his August 1 , 2011 memorandum, presented <br /> background and analysis on some issues regarding committee member terms . He explained that <br /> some of the tracking data for committee member terms , appointments, and reappointments , had <br /> been incomplete, and to remedy that, the County Attorney ' s office has constructed a new <br /> baseline for committee member terms (as outlined in the proposed Resolution) . He said that in <br /> order to correct an internal inconsistency involving the committee member terms , wherein half <br /> the members are up for reappointment after each County Commissioner election every two years , <br /> staff recommends amending Section 103 . 02 of County Code to change the default terms from <br /> two to four years . Attorney Polackwich suggested the Board consider appointing an individual <br /> ("the Monitor") to oversee committee terms going forward, with likely candidates being the <br /> County Commissioner ' s assistants ; the County Administrator ' s office, or the County Attorney ' s <br /> BK 141 P6267 <br /> August 16 , 2011 46 <br />
