This proposal presents our scope of services and the associated cost <br /> for providing our services . <br /> Project Overview, Purpose and Scope of Work <br /> We understand that Wetland mitigation is being planned for the subject site located west of I-95 . The scope <br /> of works for the proposed geotechnical investigation, outlined below, was provided in the client ' s request for <br /> proposal dated June 25 , 2003 . <br /> The purpose of performing the geotechnical investigation will be to explore and evaluate subsurface soil and <br /> groundwater conditions of the subject site as they impact the proposed wetland mitigation . <br /> • Drill and sample a total of seven (7) SPT borings to 10 feet depth and one SPT boring to a depth of 25 <br /> feet at staked boring locations . <br /> • Classify the soils encountered in each boring in our laboratory and perform index property testing on <br /> selected samples in the laboratory as needed <br /> • Measure stabilized groundwater table in each boring a minimum of 24 hours after drilling . <br /> • Install 4 piezometers 10 feet deep (with 5 foot screen) to monitor groundwater table in borings. <br /> • Evaluate the soil and groundwater table conditions relative to the suitability of the site for the proposed <br /> development . <br /> Prepare an engineering report which will present the data along with our evaluations and <br /> recommendations . <br /> Schedule and Fees <br /> We estimate we can provide the scope of services as outlined above for the total sum of $3,230. 00 The cost <br /> estimates are outlined in Attachments A.
