BYLAWS <br /> OF <br /> THE CHILDREN ' S HOME SOCIETY OF FLORIDA <br /> Incorporated under the Laws of the State of Florida <br /> ARTICLE ONE <br /> Name , Location and Offices <br /> 1 . 1 Name. The name of this corporation shall be The Children' s Home Society of Florida. <br /> 1 . 2 Registered Office and Agent. The corporation shall maintain a registered office in the <br /> State of Florida, and shall have a registered agent whose address is identical with the <br /> address of such registered office, in accordance with the requirements of the Florida <br /> Nonprofit Corporation Code . <br /> 1 . 3 Other Offices . The principal office of the corporation shall be located at 1485 South <br /> Semoran Boulevard, Winter Park, Florida. The corporation may have other offices at <br /> such place or places, within or outside the State of Florida, as the Board of directors may <br /> determine from time to time or the affairs of the corporation may require or make <br /> desirable . <br /> ARTICLE TWO <br /> Purposes and Governing Documdnts <br /> 2 . 1 Nonprofit Corporation. The corporation shall be organized and operated as a nonprofit <br /> corporation under the provisions of the Florida Nonprofit Corporation Code . <br /> 2 . 2 Purposes. The general nature of the objects of the corporation, and the purposes for <br /> which the corporation is organized, and the objects to be carried on and performed by it <br /> are as follows : <br /> 1 . ( a) To provide social services to children and families in the State of Florida <br /> and engage in services and activities related thereto and to provide social services <br /> to the community where such services are needed and are authorized by the state <br /> board of directors ; and <br /> (b ) To receive from persons, firms and corporations , by way of gift, donation, <br /> devise or bequest, or, in any other manner, charitable donations and contributions <br /> of monies, stocks , bonds, mortgages, notes and other securities of all kinds and <br /> descriptions , real estate , buildings, and all other kinds of property, real , personal <br /> or mixed, or whatsoever nature ; and <br /> Revised and annroved by the State Board of Dirertnrc 12 /8/00. <br />
