Children' s tours for elementary school age children. <br /> V. Community Service Group Membership and Support <br /> A. Personal Resources - Members of the hospital management staff donate their <br /> - time to represent the hospital through organizations throughout the <br /> community, such as Rotary, Exchange Club,_ etc. <br /> B . Financial Resources — Indian River Memorial Hospital supports community <br /> organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart <br /> Association, March of Dimes and the United Way. <br /> VI! - Community Health Screenings <br /> A. IRMH participates and sponsors health screenings and health fairs irrvarious <br /> - sites throughout the community, including Gifford Health Center, Indian <br /> River County School District, St! Edward 's School Faculty and Staff, <br /> Northern Trust Bank, Indian River Estates, etc.- <br /> - <br /> B . Cancer Screenings _ <br /> 1 . Prostrate Screening — A free screening offered each September through the <br /> IRMH Cancer Center. <br /> 2 . Colorectal — The Colorectal screening is offered each spring in <br /> conjunction with the Health Fair. <br /> 3 . Skin Cancer Screenings — Skin Cancer Screenings are provided at health <br /> fairs such as Celebrating Women: A Women' s Health Expo , <br /> C. Cholesterol Screenings — IRMH Laboratory screens for Total and HDL <br /> Cholesterol every month at the Indian River Mall . The screenings are <br /> provided at a cost of $ 12 on the first Friday of the month. <br /> VII. Hospital- Sponsored Blood Drives <br /> Held throughout the year, the hospital encourages employees to donate on <br /> hospital time and occasionally advertises the drive in local media. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
