sem. <br />THIS BOND COMPLIES WITH THE TERRORISM RISK INSURANCE ACT OF 2002 (TRIA). <br />SECTION 00430 - Bid Bond <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that we <br />LUCAS MARINE CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />(BIDDER'S NAME) <br />as Principal, <br />and WESTFIELD INSURANCE COMPANY <br />(SURETY'S NAME) OHIO <br />a corporation duty organized under the Laws of the State of %Hela as a Surety with its principal <br />offices in the City of WESTFIELD CENTER and authorized to do business in the State of <br />' Florida, are held and firmly bound unto INDIAN RIVER COUNTY (hereinafter called the <br />OWNER) in the penal sum of <br />FIVE PERCENT OF AMOUNT BID Dollars ($ 5°% ), lawful money of the United States, <br />amounting to 5% of the total bid price, for the payment of which sum well and truly be made, we <br />bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators, and successors, jointly and severally, firmly <br />by these presents, <br />Whereas said Principal is herewith submitting a Bid dated DECEMBER 19TH 20 05 for <br />the construction of: <br />Project Name: Oslo Road (CR 606) / Lateral "J" Canal Bridge Replacement <br />County Project Number: 97058 <br />Project Address: Oslo Road (CR 606) at Lateral "J' Canal between <br />12t4 Avenue & Old Dixie Highway <br />Project Description: Bridge Replacement <br />NOW THEREFORE, the condition of the above obligation is such that if the Principal does not withdraw <br />said Bid within the period of time set forth in the Bid Documents, and on or before the fifteenth, day after <br />the Notice of Award, the Principal enters into a written contract with the OWNER in accordance with the <br />Bid as accepted, and if the Nncipal gives the required bonds with good and sufficient sureties for the <br />faithful perfbrr=ce and proper fulfillment of such Contract and for the protection of laborers and <br />mraterialmen, then this obligation shall be null and void.
