Prepare final opinion of probable construction costs for landscape and irrigation improvements , <br /> based on the revised drawings . Opinion of probable construction costs shall be based on <br /> quantities and anticipated unit prices for units of work as indicated on the final construction <br /> drawings . Landscape components shall include plant material itemized by number and type of <br /> individual species . Irrigation components shall not be broken down beyond the following : <br /> 1 . Number of heads by type <br /> 2 . Number of valves by size <br /> 3 . Feet of mainline <br /> 4 . Number and type of pumping stations <br /> Brad Smith Associates , Inc . has no control over costs or the price of labor, equipment <br /> or <br /> materials , or over the Contractor ' s method of pricing . Our opinions of probable construction <br /> costs are made on the basis of experience and represent our best judgment as design <br /> professionals familiar with the market conditions . The firm makes no warranty , expressed or <br /> implied , that bids or actual costs will not vary from our opinions of probable cost. If the Owner <br /> desires greater assurances as to the construction cost , we recommend the employment of an <br /> independent cost estimator. <br /> Submit a 90 % complete set of drawings , specifications , and bid forms for Client and County <br /> review . <br /> Prepare 100 % complete set of drawings , specifications , and bid forms , incorporating review <br /> comments received from the 90 % design review . <br /> CONSTRUCTION REVIEW: The Client recognizes that construction review is a vital element of a <br /> Landscape Architect ' s complete service , provided to minimize problems during construction . <br /> Should the Client for any reason not retain the Landscape Architect to review construction , the <br /> Client waives any claim against the Landscape Architect , and agrees to indemnify , defend and <br /> hold the Landscape Architect harmless from any claim or liability for injury or loss arising from <br /> problems during construction that allegedly result from findings , conclusions , recommendations , <br /> plans or specifications developed by the Landscape Architect , <br /> MEETINGS : <br /> 1 . One meeting with Client to review 90 % complete landscape drawings , opinion of <br /> probable landscape construction costs ; to receive review comments , and authorization to <br /> proceed with final landscape construction drawings . <br /> It is anticipated that this number of meetings will be adequate for the project ; however, <br />if <br /> additional meetings are required , the cost will be considered as additional services to be billed on <br /> an hourly basis . <br /> FEE ARRANGEMENT: <br /> The Client agrees to pay the Consultant for professional services as follows : <br /> A lump sum of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars ($ 11 , 440 . 00) , according to the <br /> following schedule of values : <br /> Agreement - 2 <br />
