Kafer : <br /> We are pleased to submit this proposal for Professional Engineering services for the <br /> design of roadway improvements along 20th Avenue SW from 25th Street SW to 21St <br /> Street SW in Indian River County , Florida . The total length of the project is <br /> approximately 2600 LF or 0 . 50 miles . <br /> Our Scope of Services included in this proposal consists of the preparation of <br /> construction plans for the widening of 20th Avenue SW to a two lane undivided roadway . <br /> Typical Section <br /> The proposed roadway section will consist of two 12 -foot travel lanes with 4 -foot paved <br /> shoulders . A 5 -foot concrete sidewalk will be constructed on the west side of the <br /> roadway . The right of way width will be 80 feet . <br /> The existing roadway consists of a one -way paved street . Valley gutter exists on the <br /> east side of the roadway . The valley gutter will remain . The existing pavement will be <br /> removed , except at existing driveways . The proposed roadway will be graded to provide <br /> for a maximum 5 % cross slope between the proposed pavement and the existing valley <br /> gutter . Existing driveways will not be modified . <br /> Drainage from the west side of the roadway will be directed to Falcon Trace . A drainage <br /> swale will be provided on the west side of the roadway . Ditch bottom inlets will be <br /> provided to collect runoff and convey it to the Falcon Trace Drainage system . Drainage <br /> from the east side of the roadway will be directed to the existing valley gutter .
