ATTACHMENT "A " <br /> Project Program <br /> Indian River County Emergency Services <br /> Station # 4 <br /> This will be a 2 bay, approximately 8 , 000 square feet prototype station based on the Miami Dade <br /> County floor plan and specifications provided by Indian River County . The structure will be <br /> concrete block, fully sprinkled and designed to the current building codes . The exterior finishes <br /> will be determined at a later date . <br /> The following item will be included in the design of this station. <br /> Two bays 85 feet in length with two 12 ' x 14 ' roll up doors <br /> Split dorm with a total of 10 beds and lockers for three shifts <br /> Unisex ADA restroom off of lobby <br /> Secure access from lobby to rest of station- lobby is only public access area <br /> Men ' s and Women ' s ADA restrooms with two showers each <br /> Conditioned room for Gear with floor drains and incandescent lighting <br /> Conditioned room for EMS Storage <br /> Work Room with tub sink, washing machine , icemaker and safety shower <br /> Exercise room approximately 20 ' x 24 ' <br /> Kitchen is contain, 3 pantries, 3 refrigerators , gas range/oven with hood, dishwasher stainless <br /> counter tops <br /> Office/dispatch area with storage closet <br /> Day room/ dining area <br /> Covered Patio <br /> Lawn equipment storage <br /> 100KW backup generator with transfer switch, powered by LP gas <br /> Fire sprinklers through out building <br /> Shore power outlets in apparatus bays <br /> 6 " concrete aprons in front of each bay door <br /> Standing seam metal roof <br /> Impact windows with shutters <br /> Note : The programming for all 2 and 3 bay prototype stations was developed at the meeting held on May 25 `x' in <br /> John King ' s Office .
