The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined and found

<br />correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the respective funds being listed in the
<br />�Supplemental Minute Book as provided
<br />by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list
<br />so recorded being made a part of these minutes.
<br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements of the
<br />ti various funds, which have been audited, were found to be correct.
<br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board then adjourned.

<br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of Indian River County met at the Courthouse
<br />in Vero Beach, Florida in a regular meeting. at 9:00 o'clock A. M. August 7, 1956. Present
<br />1 were 61. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman, Aubrey L. Saddell, J. J. P. Hamilton and H. C, Watts. Also
<br />present were S. N. Smith, Jr., Attorney, E. E. Carter, Road & Bridge Superintendent, Sam T.
<br />Joyce, Sheriff and. Douglas Baker, Clerk.
<br />Minutes of July 3rd regular meeting, were read and the same were approved upon
<br />Motion made by Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried.
<br />The Board then convened as an Equalization Board, as provided by law.
<br />The County Tax Assessor filed with the Clerk to the Board, and there was pre-
<br />sented to the Board at this meeting, the applications for the tax exemptions set out in the
<br />Resolution next following herein, together with original notice of disapproval of said
<br />applications with entry of service upon the respective applicants, and same were duly reviewed
<br />by the Board together with evidence presented to the Tax Assessor upon which the respective
<br />applicants based their claims for exemption. No applicants appeared in person or by agent.
