Estimates having been made by the Board of Public Instruction for TAX <br />s <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 and a certified copy of said Resolution having been filed with this <br />Board as required by law, and as estimated by said Board, being the rate of aillage voted, it <br />is determined and hereby declared that tax rate of Ten (10) mills upon the dollar be levied <br />and is hereby fixed and assessed for the year 1956 on all of the property taxable for such pur-,, <br />pose as provided by law # said District, said District comprising of all of Indian River <br />County. The same being Nine (9) mills for support and maintenances and One (1) mill for <br />building and special reserve. <br />6. Estimates having been made by the said Board of Public Instruction for <br />SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 11, and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this <br />Board as required by law, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Twenty- <br />five hundredths (.25.) mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for i <br />the year 1956 on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying and being within <br />the boundaries of said District No. 11, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit: Beginning at <br />the Northeast corner of Section 32, Township 32 South, Range 40 East, then run West along <br />Section line to Northwest corner Section 31, Township 32 South, Range 38 East, thence South <br />on Range line to Southwest corner Section 31, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, thence West <br />along Section line to Northwest corner Section 6, Township 33 South, Range 36 East, thence <br />South along Range line to Southwest corner Section 18, Township 33 South, Range 38 East, <br />thence East to Atlantic Ocean, thence North along0cean Beach to sta rting point; for the <br />purpose of paying interest upon and providing a Sinking Fund for bonds of said District dated <br />December 1, 1940. <br />7. Estimates having been made by the said Board of Public Instruction for <br />Special Tax School District No. 1, and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this <br />Board as required by law, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Five (5) <br />mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for the year 1956 on all <br />of the property <br />in <br />said District, the same being all of <br />the property <br />in Indian <br />River County; <br />i <br />for the purpose <br />of <br />paying interest upon <br />and providing a <br />Sinking Fund <br />for bonds <br />of said District <br />dated April 1, 1956. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, <br />be and he hereby is directed to assess and levy all the foregoing taxes upon the taxable <br />property in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation within the respective boun- <br />daries upon which such taxes are levied and the Tax Collector of Indian River County, Florida <br />be and he is hereby directed to collect said taxes and pay over the same and that a certified <br />copy of this Resolution be furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes and the County Collector <br />of taxes. <br />Upon being duly seconded by Commissioner Hamilton, the foregoing Resolution <br />was unanimously adopted. 0 <br />There being no further business, on motion made seconded & carried, the Board <br />then adjourned. <br />ATTEST- CHAIRMAN <br />CLE99 <br />
