� D - 03 - o & <br /> it I � <br /> PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING <br /> AND BRIDGE DESIGN SERVICES <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN BRIDGE DESIGN ASSOCIATES, INC. AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an Amendment to the existing Engineering Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated <br /> October 4, 2005 between Bridge Design Associates, Inc. (ENGINEER) and Indian River County <br /> (COUNTY). This Amendment addresses changes in "Section III — Scope of Services," and <br /> "Section V — Compensation". <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> "SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to incorporate the <br /> following: <br /> Engineer services are required for the preparation of bridge plans and permit applications <br /> for the proposed bridge. The bridge is located on 16th Street and will cross over the Rangeline <br /> Canal . The associated bridge improvements at this location are is follows : <br /> The proposed bridge will be designed to accommodate three lanes eastbound and <br /> westbound, a 5. 5' shoulder and sidewalk on the north side and an 8' shoulder on south side <br /> including applicable barriers with concrete approach slabs and two 5' utility shelves on each side. <br /> "SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered a <br /> lump sum payment of $37,464. 00 for Design and Permitting services. Also, Services for <br /> reimbursable expenses for Soil Testing Services of not to exceed $5, 000.00. <br /> A balance of $14,407.60 remains on the existing Agreement. Therefore, the total amount due for <br /> the bridge design services is Lump Sum $23, 056.40, plus N .T.
