/ 0 , 03 06 <br /> / <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE PROFESSIONAL � '9O ` 6 <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> 66TH AVENUE PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> BETWEEN SR 60 AND 4T" STREET <br /> IRC PROJECT NO. 9810 <br /> THIS is an amendment to the existing AGREEMENT dated NOVEMBER 17 , 1998 , including <br /> AMENDMENTS NUMBER 1 through 3 , between CARTER ASSOCIATES, INC . (ENGINEER) and <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY (COUNTY) . The proposed scope of work generally includes final design of <br /> roadway and drainage improvements and permitting services. The re-design will be based on splitting the <br /> project into two (2) projects, modifications to minimize impacts to property owners and other minor changes . <br /> All provisions of the original Professional Engineering Services Agreement including Amendment Nos . 1 , 2 <br /> and 3 shall remain in full force and effect, unless otherwise specifically modified. This amendment <br /> addresses changes in "FINAL DESIGN AND PERMITTING", SERVICES, "COMPENSATION," and <br /> "TIME OF COMPLETION" of the AGREEMENT. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> See attached letter from Carter Associates, Inc . dated September 26, 2006, which specifies changes in <br /> the "SCOPE OF SERVICES " and "COMPENSATION. " <br /> COMPENSATION <br /> This section of the AGREEMENT entitled SECTION V - COMPENSATION shall be revised in <br /> response to the Scope modifications set out herein. The charges associated with this AMENDMENT NO. 4 <br /> are as follows : <br /> Fees for Final Design and Permitting : $30,640. 00 (Lump Sum) <br /> The charges associated with the AGREEMENT (which includes changes from Amendment 1 , 2 and 2 and <br /> these additional services included in proposed Amendment 4), shall be increased from $297,620 . 00 to <br /> $328 ,260.00. <br /> The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein. All sections of the <br /> AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect, and are incorporated herein.
