INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> Oslo Road Phase I Roadway Widening <br /> AMENDMENT NO, 8 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated March 24th, 1998 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br /> (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in <br /> " Section I - Project Limits and Description", Section II - County Obligations, "Section III - <br /> Scope of Services" , " Section V - Compensation" and " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement" of <br /> the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Descri tp Lon <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> "SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to include roadway <br /> construction assistance services for the Oslo Road Phase I Roadway Widening Project. <br /> The project consists of widening Oslo Road to a five lane urban roadway section between <br /> 27`h Avenue and approximately 600 feet west of Old Dixie Highway. <br /> " SECTION II — COUNTY OBLIGATIONS " is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> It is understood that during the Construction Phase of the Oslo Road Phase I Roadway <br /> Widening Project, the COUNTY will undertake the day to day task of construction <br /> observation, which includes but is not limited to the following: <br /> • COUNTY representatives will be on site during construction and responsible for <br /> construction observation. <br /> • Conduct the weekly progress meetings. <br /> • Work with the Contractor to develop and process monthly pay request. <br /> "SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> Roadway Alignment Modifications <br /> The ENGINEER will revise the Final Oslo Road Phase I Roadway Widenin <br /> construction documents to revise the Oslo Road alignment immediately cast of 27` <br /> Avenue for a length of approximately 1 , 000 feet .
