MONSON <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> Oslo Road Phase I Roadway Widening <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 9 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated March 24th, 1998 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br /> (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY). This amendment addresses changes in <br /> "Section III - Scope of Services" and " Section V - Compensation" of the AGREEMENT. <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> "SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> Alternate Pond Siting Report <br /> The COUNTY desires to prepare an alternate pond siting report to address the 27`h <br /> Avenue stormwater requirements between Oslo Road and 7th Street SW. The analysis <br /> will address the hydrologic and hydraulic characteristics associated with three alternative <br /> pond sites. <br /> A preliminary stormwater management system will be developed to include type of <br /> collection system, outfalls and best practice stormwater management facility selection. <br /> The potential effect on downstream properties and other stormwater management <br /> requirements will be addressed. An opinion of probable construction cost will be <br /> developed for each alternative pond site evaluated. Costs evaluated will include right-of- <br /> way, construction, utilities, maintenance, cultural resources, environmental, floodplain <br /> and aesthetics. <br /> No site specific geotechnical data will be obtained to aid in seasonal high water elevation <br /> determination and soil classification. The ENGINEER will coordinate with the <br /> COUNTY and/or their consultant regarding the development of costs associated with <br /> right-of-way acquisition. <br /> " SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered <br />
