<br />ro posed, then the open river end of each finger shall be bulkheaded to a minimum elevation of
<br />5 feet with a sloping or stepdown if desired of the bulkhead from the open river end inland
<br />to a minimum elevation of 3-1-2 feet at the inland end. Where the bulkhead is less than 5 feet

<br />in elevation, the ground elevation shall slope upward on a short slope on an even grade to
<br />an elevation of 5 feet. In such finger type development, road rights of ways shall be of a
<br />minimum width of 60 feet and channels or canals separating each finger shall be of a minimum
<br />width of 80 feet.
<br />7. If deep ditches are located in or alongside roadways, they shall be of a suff-
<br />icient distance from the travelway portion of the road in order to maintain a natural and
<br />gradual side slope and an adequate width for shoulders for the travelway. All culverts placed''
<br />deep under roadways and all swale ditches at the intersection of deeper drainage ditches
<br />shall have.a culvert pipe of concrete swale or rip rap or head wall, as the case may be, to
<br />prevent washouts and erosion.
<br />8. All plats shall show the finished road elevations at each intersection and at k!

<br />the middle of the block with ditch arrows to indicate the direction of drainage. All lot
<br />elevations shall be shown at the approximate position of the building site on,the lot, such L....
<br />elevations to be shown on at least all of the end lots and on at least 4 lots in between,
<br />specifically showing any lot elevations which are substantially lower than the elevations
<br />shown according to the above formula. All lots much have sufficient elevation to provide
<br />adequate drainage to render the site habitable. The County Engineer may, in his discretion,
<br />require a separate Contour Drainage Map.
<br />The County Superintendent of Roads stated that the Jaycees had asked if the County
<br />would provide the marl for their public beach. He further stated that it would not take
<br />much to do the job. The Board advised him to give the marl to the Jaycees for this purpose.
