INDIAN RIVER COUNTY MITIGATION REEF PROJECT <br /> TECHNICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> intermediate profile baseline monuments/stations in a hard copy form , 3 Yz' floppy disk <br /> or compact disc (CD) in FDEP "serpentine" format and AutoCAD electronic drawing files . <br /> Additional information to be provided to the COUNTY shall include tide curves and <br /> corrections and field notes , and a 1 " = 200' plan view plot showing proposed profile lines <br /> and surveyed tracklines. All drawings shall be submitted in an electronic format <br /> acceptable to the COUNTY. Survey lines shall be taken along the azimuth indicated in <br /> the Construction Plans . <br /> 31 .4 Oversight. Surveys shall be conducted by the CONTRACTOR or <br /> CONTRACTOR ' S Subcontractor with oversight by the COUNTY or its representative . <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall provide at minimum 24-hour notice to the COUNTY prior to <br /> conducting survey work . The COUNTY shall provide an observer for all surveying work <br /> unless the oversight requirement for a specific task and/or block of time is waived in <br /> writing by the COUNTY. <br /> 31 . 5 Qualifications . All surveys shall be in accordance with professional standards and <br /> practices , and all survey documents shall be signed and sealed by a Professional <br /> Surveyor and Mapper registered in the State of Florida . Said surveyor should carry <br /> Professional Liability Insurance . Hydrographic surveys shall be performed in accordance <br /> with USACE HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYING document number EM 1110-2- 1003 dated <br /> October 1994 ( Updated January 1 , 2002) , <br /> 31 . 6 Documentation . Survey notes shall be reduced to elevations and shall include the <br /> date performed , weather conditions , bench marks and monuments used , name and title <br /> of each member of the survey party, and the name of any COUNTY or ENGINEER <br /> representative present. Survey notes lacking information , illegible , in error or not in <br /> accordance with accepted practices shall be returned to the CONTRACTOR for <br /> correction . Surveying instruments shall be checked for adjustment and such checks shall <br /> be recorded in survey notes and on the quality control sheet. <br /> TS-26 <br />
