Hanson and Helen Hanson, his wife, do herewith petition <br />you to adopt a resolution vacating, �abolishing and abandoning the plat of Roseland, as recordedit <br />in Plat Book 1, page 78, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Brevard County, <br />Florida, said lands now being situated in Indian River County, Florida, and request this Board <br />to vacate, abandon, discontinue and close any existing public or private street, alley -way, <br />road, highway or other place used for travel or any portion thereof or any lands dedicated to <br />the public and to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to any <br />lands shown on said plat. <br />Although said plat of Roseland has been of record for many years, there have been no 17 <br />conveyances of land according to said plat. The original plat of said lands was according to <br />the Plat of Wauregan, as recorded in the year 1889 in Plat Book 1, page 74, in the office of <br />the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Brevard County, Florida. A portion of said lands was sub- <br />sequently in the year 1903 platted and subdivided according to the plat of Roseland, as re- <br />corded in Plat Book 1, page 78, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Beevard <br />County, Florida. That the plat of said lands entitled the Plat of Roseland has been entirely <br />overlooked in the assessing of said land for taxes and in conveyances of said lands and said <br />lands have neither been assessed nor conveyed according to said Plat of Roseland and said lands <br />i <br />are now used, possessed and conveyed according to the Plat of Wauregan.
