• <br />1 <br />Cl <br />0 <br />0 <br />1 <br />M <br />R E S O L U T I O N. -- Amended Budget <br />The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did receive and examine and tentatively <br />adopt a proposed budget of excess receipts and their expenditures for the fiscal year ending <br />September 30, 1958; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did cause a summary statement thereof to be advertised one <br />time in a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian.River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />In the issue of January 23, 1958 of the Vero Beach Press Journal as will more fully appear by <br />proof of publication thereof filed in the minutes of this Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did meet at the time and place stated in said advertisement <br />for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints of the public regarding said Supplemental <br />Budget and for the purpose of holding a public hearing and making whatever revisions in the <br />budget it may deem necessary; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida does herewith tentatively adopt said Supplemental Budget for the fiscal year <br />ending September 30, 1958 in the form heretofore tentatively adopted and duly advertised. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Supplemental Budget shall be filed in the office <br />of the County Auditor as a public record and the Clerk hereof shall transmit two copies <br />of the Supplemental Budget as adopted to the Comptroller of the State of Florida and said <br />k0 Supplemental Budget shall be considered as finally adopted and official upon approval as to <br />ip <br />�! form by the Comptroller. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Robert Graves, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried the following Resolution was adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N -- Filing Condemnation Suit <br />State Road S-632 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, acting for and upon behalf of Indian <br />i <br />!� Rives County, Florida, have entered into an agreement with the Sta to Road Department to <br />obtain on behalf of the County for the State of Florida, for the use and benefit of the State <br />N <br />Road Department, all of the rights of ways, easements and lands for the construction of Section <br />8859-150 State Road S-632 in Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, said County has been unable by donation or purchase to acquire the remaining <br />q parts thereof; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED b the Board of Count Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />y y y <br />that Sherman N. Smith, Jr., the Attorney for this Board in said County, is herewith authorized <br />w and directed to prepare and file in the Circuit Court of Indian River County, Florida, any <br />i <br />and all documents required in order that said lands required for said rights of ways shall be <br />e' condemned in eminent domain proceedings and the title to said lands vested in said State, <br />!' including a Declaration of Taking, as authorized by Chapter 74, Florida Statutes, and said <br />attorney is further authorized and directed to prosecute said proceedings in the name of <br />
