0 <br />• <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />SEC <br />CHAIRMAN <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 3, 1958 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, met at the Courthouse, <br />Vero Beach, Florida in a regular meeting held at 9:00 o'clock A. M., Tuesday, June 3, 1958. <br />All members were present. Also present were Ed Schmucker, County Engineer, Sherman N. Smith, <br />Jr., Attorney and Katherine Morrison, Secretary. <br />The Chairman asked if there were any changes or additions to be made to the minutes <br />of May 6th regular meeting. There were none and upon Motion made by Commissioner Robert <br />Graves, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried', the minutes were approved <br />as read. <br />The Chairman read a letter from Forrest N. McCullars requesting that the ASC office <br />be moved across the hall as soon as the Board of Public Instruction vacates same. Upon <br />motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unan- <br />imously carried, the Board stated upon the Board of Public Instruction vacating said offices <br />that the ASC office could have these rooms. <br />Mr. Dan Richardson appeared before the Board and gave a report on their trying to <br />obtain rights of way for the County on 16th Street. He stated that out of the 28 names they <br />had been given that 15 said they would sign. The Board expressed their appreciation to Mr. <br />Richardson and others on this committee for the work they had done toward obtaining the <br />rights of way. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Robert Graves, seconded by Commissioner W. C. <br />Graves, Jr., and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was approved. <br />R E S O L U T I O N -- 16th Street Condemnation <br />Proceedings. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, acting for and on behalf of Indian <br />River County, Florida, has entered into an agreement with the State Road Department to obtain <br />on behalf of the County for the State of Florida, for the use and benefit of the State Road <br />Department, all of the rights of ways, easements and lands required for the construction <br />of Section 8860-150, State Road 16th Street, in Indian River County, Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, said County has been unable by donation or purchase to acquire the remain - <br />ing parts thereof; Now, therefore, <br />0 <br />1 <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
