Ql�ra/09 <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY BRIDGE OVER SOUTH RELIEF CANAL <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 1 TO WORK ORDER # 9 TO THE PROFESSIONAL BRIDGE <br /> DESIGN SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ANNUAL BRIDGE SERVICES BETWEEN <br /> BRIDGE DESIGN ASSOCIATES , INC . AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , FLORIDA . <br /> This is an amendment to WORK ORDER #9 dated July 8 , 2008 to the agreement <br /> ( AGREEMENT) dated October 3 , 2006 for Professional Bridge Design Services Annual <br /> Contract between Bridge Design Associates , Inc . ( ENGINEER ) and Indian River County <br /> ( COUNTY ) . <br /> AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> The ENGINEER will perform the necessary engineering services to the Old Dixie Highway <br /> Bridge over South Relief Canal Project by revising the plans to match the new updated survey <br /> provided by the County . <br /> " SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The project is located approximately 3300 feet north Along Old Dixie Highway between 2 "' <br /> Street SW and 3rd Place . <br /> The work will include the replacement of the Old Dixie Highway Bridge over the South Relief <br /> Canal , approximately 3300 feet of road and drainage improvements to the approaches of the <br /> bridge , stormwater treatment ponds , utility improvements and other work necessary to complete <br /> the project . <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to include the following : <br /> The construction drawings will be updated by adding all of the new topographic information as <br /> included on a recent survey provided by the County . The updated survey includes driveways , <br /> utilities , trees , drainage pipes and other new topographic information that will require additions <br /> and changes to the construction drawings . <br /> " SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION " <br /> The final revised plans shall be completed within six weeks after notice to proceed . <br /> " SECTION V — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered <br /> pursuant to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : <br /> Bridge Design Associates , Inc .
