INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> 53" STREET BRIDGE OVER IRFWCD LATERAL "H" CANAL <br /> IRC Project Number 0107 -B <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 1 TO WORK ORDER NO. 5 TO THE PROFESSIONAL BRIDGE <br /> DESIGN SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN BRIDGE DESIGN ASSOCIATES , INC. <br /> AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to Work Order No . 5 to the existing Bridge Design Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) for Annual Bridge Design Services , dated October 6 , 2006 between Bridge <br /> Design Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY ) . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> The ENGINEER performed the necessary engineering services due to site conditions ; GRL <br /> Engineers , Inc . ( a sub - consultant) made two site visits to perform their work for dynamic pile <br /> testing . As such their expenses exceeded the amount originally anticipated . <br /> " SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION <br /> 53 `d Street Bridge over the Indian River Farms Water Control District Lateral "H"Canal . <br /> " SECTION II — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate additional dynamic <br /> pile testing . <br /> " SECTION IV — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered <br /> pursuant to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : <br /> Additional dynamic pile testing $ 1 , 500 . 00 <br /> TOTAL Amendment No. 1 $ 19500.00 <br /> The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth here in .
