01 <br />i 8,P <br />..... _.._. ___ <br />requisition this Board will request the State Board of Health to authorize direct payments to <br />the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners from Indian River County's share of the l <br />State Appropriation for this program, less any charges that may have been paid to hospitals <br />outside of Indian River County by the State Board of Health for necessary emergency treatment <br />of indigent Indian River County residents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all payments received from the State of Florida throughlI <br />this program shall augment the "Indian River County Indigent Hospitalization Fund",and shall r <br />be expended in addition to County funds herein appropriated in accordance with County Annual <br />a <br />Budget Statute, Chapter 129, Florida Statutes; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution be submitted to <br />the Indian River County Medical Society, the Indian River County Health Department and the <br />State Board of Health, and to the Indian River Memorial Hospital. <br />Upon motion made by Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Mccullers and <br />carried, the Sheriff's Budget for 1958-59 was tentatively adopted. <br />Upon motion made by Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />carried, the Board appointed Joe Henty Earman as Director of Civil Defense. <br />The Clerk of the Circuit Court (County Auditor) after tentatively ascertaining the <br />proposed fiscal policies of the Board for the ensuing fiscal year., from the 1st day of October <br />1959, to the 30th day of September, 195f, prepared and presentLlto the Board a tentative <br />budget for the ensuing fiscal year for each of the funds, as provided in Chapter 26874, Laws <br />of 1951, including all estimated receipts, taxes to be levied, and balances expected to be <br />brought forward, and all estimated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried over to <br />the end of the year, were ordered spread upon the minutes of the Board and transmit two <br />copies of each of the tentative budget to the Comptroller of the State of Florida, said copies <br />to be certified by the Chairman of the Board of County Commissiore rs and by the County <br />Auditor as a true and correct copy of the budget as adopted by the Board of County Commissioners; <br />and the original to be filed as a part of the records of the county, and is in words and f igure'I6 <br />i <br />as follows: <br />GENERAL REVENUE FUND <br />APPROPRIATIONS <br />AMOUNT <br />211. <br />Sal.
