r--3-62 <br />�1' <br />Range 39 East, and running North to the North line of Section 17, Township 31 South, Range <br />39 East, be changed from C-1, Commercial District to M -1-A, restricted Industrial District. <br />After some discussion and upon Motion made by Commissioner Robert Graves, seconded by Comm- p <br />issioner McCullers and carried, public hearing was ordered for the rezoning of this area. <br />A further recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission was presented <br />requesting the County Commissioners acquire an 80 foot right of way, 40 feet on either side <br />of the center line for Old Dixie Highway as established in the survey made by the R. D. Carter <br />Engineering Firm. The:_Commissioners looked the survey over and upon Motion made by Comm- <br />issioner Robert Graves, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and ;unanimously carried, this Board <br />I <br />approves the alignment for the right of way for Old Dixie Highway as 80 feet inwidth, 40 feet ; <br />on either side of the centerline as set forth in survey made by R. D. Carter, dated August <br />20, 1958, and do herewith establish that right of way as a county road with directions that <br />the actual right of way be obtained on the owners involved. <br />The Secretary also presented a proposed right of way setback map which the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission had approved for submission to the Board. After some discussion in the <br />matter and upon Motion made b' -Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and ° <br />carried, the Board agreed that the map of Indian River County having superimposed thereon the <br />general plan for principal roads in Indian River County, and showing the right of way required; <br />for the various roads be approved and adopted as the official plan of Indian River County, <br />Florida, for its principal net work of roads and that in the platting of every subdivision <br />such road right of way so indicated shall be shown upon the plat and dedicated, and that in u <br />the issuance of any building permits setbacks shall be required in order that these rights <br />of way remain clear and undeveloped. <br />The following Notary Public Bonds in the amount of $500.00 each were approved by <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk as authorized by law; <br />John W. Bradley w/ American Fire & Casualty Co. as surety. <br />J. A. Peterson w/ American Surety Co. of N. Y. as surety. <br />Lois H. Stephenson w/ American Fire & Casualty Co. as surety. <br />Alfred M. Scattergood II w/ Mass, Bonding & Insurance Co. as surety. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited were examine& <br />and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same.
