Task 7 — Review Existing Rate Structure and Make Recommendations <br /> CDM will review the existing rate structure and make recommendations as appropriate . For <br /> reclaimed water systems, customer classes may include both pressurized and non-pressurized <br /> customers, each with different costs of service . <br /> Task 8 — Recommend Reclaimed Water Rates for Full Cost Recovery <br /> Based on the results of the preceding tasks, CDM will compute rates for full cost recovery . In <br /> conjunction with consultations with the County, a period for which rates would provide <br /> revenue sufficiency will be established . <br /> Task 9 — Prepare Draft Report <br /> From the results of the preceding tasks, CDM will prepare a draft report setting forth all <br /> analyses, calculations, findings and recommendations . CDM will provide the County with five <br /> copies of the draft report. <br /> Task 10 — Develop Intermediate Presentations to UAC and BOCC <br /> CDM will prepare presentations for the UAC and BOCC to provide results of the draft report. <br /> Feedback on conclusions and recommendations from the draft report will be sought. <br /> Task 11 — Prepare Final Report <br /> Upon receipt of comments concerning the draft report, CDM will incorporate them into the <br /> final report. CDM will provide the County with five hard copies of the final report and an <br /> electronic copy in pdf format for distribution . <br /> Task 12 — Final Presentation to BOCC <br /> At the call of the BOCC, CDM will make a formal presentation of the reclaimed water rate <br /> study, including findings and recommendations . <br /> Task 13 — Meetings <br /> In addition to meetings with the UAC and BOCC, CDM will meet with County Staff <br /> periodically over the course of the project. Three meeting were planned for this project . <br /> Task 14 — Project Management and Administration <br /> Duties are for the project duration, which is expected to be no greater than six months . Project <br /> expected to be upper limit, not to exceed type with travel expenses allowed for bringing <br /> financial presenters to meetings with UAC and BOCC . <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> The initial data request within one week of notice to proceed (NTP) . <br /> Presentation to UAC will occur at earliest meeting after receipt of data . <br /> Delivery of draft report will occur within four weeks of receipt of data . <br /> Delivery of Final Report will occur within 2 weeks of receipt of comments . <br /> Presentation of Final results to the BOCC, first meeting after delivery of final report . <br /> OTHER SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> This authorization does not include any additional meetings or presentations beyond those <br /> outlined in this scope of work . <br /> A-2 j12309. docx <br />
