The additional time is due to the extra work requested by the Owner and a grossly <br /> under estimated impact of last years storms . <br /> The additional days break down as follows : <br /> Hurricane Francis & Jean- 181 Days The impact of the storms last year on the grown in process was <br /> grossly under estimated on our part. As you are aware the fields were sprigged just a couple of weeks <br /> before Hurricane Francis . The deluge of excess water really stunted the initial grow in process . It was not <br /> until late July, early august of this year the fields were completely grown in . <br /> Top Dress South Ball fields- 60 Days The south ball fields were top dressed with approximately 1/2" to 3/4" <br /> inch of sterilized sand and re fertilized in an effort to minimize the unevenness .
