Description : Increase the unit price contract amount for Bid Item No. 13 . 01 4 ' high chain link fence) by a total amount of $4.09 per lineal foot for a total unit price of $ 19 . 09 per lineal foot. Bids were received on June 2 , 2004 , but the construction contr4c ct was not awarded until December 8 , 2004 and costs escalated significantly during th it time. The project was delayed because the deletion of the north stormwater pond required a new SJRWMD permit, which was not issued until December 7 , 2004. The unit price increase represents the escalation of material cost since the project bid date , b t it does not include any increase in labor costs. 2.
