Upon Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and <br />i <br />carried, the Board directs that in the event any of the property owners fail to promptly accept <br />the offer and give -the right of way requested on Glendale, that the County Attorney <br />file con- <br />demantion suit on the remaining parcels. <br />The Secretary read a copy of a letter written to Dr. Kip G. Kelso from Dr. Stephens,'; <br />Director of the Bureau of Local Health Services appointing Dr. Kelso as acting health officer <br />until Dr. Flood reports for duty. The Secretary further stated that she had looked up the { <br />resolution made by the Board setting a limit of 14 days for indigent hospitalization and in <br />extc:eme cases this could be extended an additional 14 days. After some discussion and upon <br />Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously <br />carried, the Board rescinds its former action and set a limit of 6 days hospitalization for <br />t <br />surgical cases and 4 days hospitalization for medical patients and any extension of time to be <br />decided upon by the Health Officer. <br />The Verdict of the Coroner's Jury in the matter of the body of Mattie Felder, decease <br />was presented and ordered filed with the Clerk. <br />Audit Report #4928 covering records of Indian River Mosquito Con trol District, 6 <br />'Former County Judge, Otis M. Cobb; and Former Acting County Judge, G. E. Bryant, Jr. was <br />presented to the Board and was ordered filed as a part of the public records of the Board <br />pursuant to Section 21.121 (3) Florida Statutes. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />(carried, the following Resolution was adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />WHEREAS, there is a total surplus of $415.00 in the Fine & Forfeiture Fund of Indian <br />'River County under some items and which surplus exists after the payment of all necessary ex- <br />penditures under such items for the current fiscal year; and <br />WHEREAS, THERE is a deficiency in funds necessary to provide for the proper and,.''' <br />authorized expenditures under some items in the Fine &.. Forfeiture Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, said items mentioned are a part of the same fund and the transfer from one <br />item to another item in the same fund and is not a transfer from one fund to another fund; <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that there is herewith transferred the sum of $415.00 in the Fine & <br />Forfeiture Fund from some items where there is a surplus to the items where there is a def- <br />iciency, according to detailed statement attached, all in the Fine & Forfeiture Fund of the <br />(current budget of Indian River County as provided by law. <br />Item to Item Transfers <br />EXPENDITURES <br />A/C <br />323. <br />Name <br />Fees & Costs, County Judge <br />TRANSFERS <br />To From <br />215.00 <br />341.
