Our daily after-school and summer programs, offered through our
"Clubhouse" locations and our outreach services provided through our Youth Volunteer Corps,
allow us to provide services to children throughout Indian River County. These program
activities attract and sustain young people, ages 6 through 18, who pay a nominal annual
membership fee of $35 . 00 (which includes a free Boys & Girls Club t-shirt) . We also charge a
small weekly summer fee, due to increased operation costs and the perceptions that if the
program is free it cannot be worthwhile. While our method of program delivery may change
with seasonal activities, or school related endeavors, the core of what and how we conduct daily
activities remains much the same. The overall Boys & Girls Club program structure can be
divided into "Five Core Service Areas". Together, these core service areas provide a diverse
base of activities designed to meet the needs and interests of every member.
