Increase/improve grade and skill levels of • Provide daily Homework Help, Reading & <br /> no less than 45 % of Club members Math skills enhancement activities, One-On- <br /> participating in the Sebastian Branch One and Group Tutoring, POWER Pages and <br /> Power Hour program by June 30, 2005 . POWER Point activities during the school year. <br /> Baseline : 1St quarter school grades • Celebrate improvement in school performance <br /> compared to 4`h quarter grades , with quarterly parties. <br /> • Meet with school officials to identify members <br /> who are failing and provide additional <br /> homework and tutoring support. <br /> • Implement a peer led homework and tutoring <br /> program 5 days a week during the school year. <br /> • Establish a Goals for Graduation program that <br /> meets one a week for 12 weeks. <br /> • Establish a Goals for Growth program that <br /> meets once a week for 8 weeks. <br /> • Create a Job Ready program that will be offered <br /> during the summer. <br /> • Create a Career Launch program that will be <br /> offered year round to teenagers accessing the <br /> web at the Boys & Girls Club. <br /> • Provide daily access to computers to improve <br /> technology competency levels. <br /> 4 . Maintain 100% parent involvement of Club . Establish a Family Support program, designed <br /> members in the Sebastian Branch (209) as to provide seasonal activities, events and <br /> reported by the 2004 -2005 Parent attendance services to strengthen family relations through <br /> at Club events . Baseline : 2003 -2004 Parents informal social support. <br /> attendance at Club . • Implement a Family Advisory Network (FAN <br /> Club) that will meet 4 times a year. <br /> • Survey parents annually to evaluate program <br /> quality and identify new areas for service. <br /> 5 .
