Parent education classes are offered to families in <br /> of Indian River County, consisting of: participating agencies and to the community at large. <br /> ALPI, CCCR, FDLRS (Florida Combined resources allow PTEP to bring in quality <br /> Diagnostic & Learning Resources presenters of national standing. <br /> System), Florida First Start, Gifford <br /> Youth Activities Center, Head Start, 2 . PTEP provides a forum in which members share <br /> Healthy Families, Healthy Start, pertinent information regarding families moving from <br /> I.R. C . PTEP is a liaison between the county ' s childcare <br /> providers, helping centers remain abreast of "best <br /> practices" in early childhood education. <br /> Community Church Partner' s CCCR and the Partner' s Program work in collaboration <br /> Program to assist families in setting and attaining family goals for <br /> a period of six months to a year. <br /> Community Church Community Church provides CCCR with classroom <br /> space, audiovisual equipment, and custodial services for <br /> a 4-week parenting program Re-directing Children 's <br /> Behavior. Spaces may be reserved for Community <br /> Church parents. <br /> Indian River School System The school system tracks CCCR children through their <br /> database in terms of promotion rate. This helps CCCR <br /> document that the centers are preparing the children for <br /> kindergarten, <br /> Family Court CCCR makes course slots available to the Family Court <br /> at no cost to families or the court for Redirecting <br /> Children 's Behavior. <br /> Retired and Senior Volunteer Recruits senior volunteers to assist CCCR. <br /> Program <br /> Indian River School Readiness FRC serves on the Assessment Committee to develop a <br /> Coalition new tool for Center monitoring and quality control . <br /> Economic Opportunities Council CCCR and EOC work together to develop additional <br /> family support strategies . <br /> Application for 2004-2005 service period 10 <br />
