HIBISCUS CHILDREN ' S CENTER CORE PROGRAM SERVICE MANUAL <br /> HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT ALL PROGRAMS <br /> 1 . 16 AGENCY VEHICLE USE <br /> POLICY <br /> To establish guidelines for ensuring the safe operation of Hibiscus Children' s Center vehicles <br /> and the security of the passengers that are being transported . Agency vehicles will be the <br /> primary source of transportation of HCC clients . Any use of personal vehicles to transport <br /> clients is prohibited . <br /> GENERAL POLICY <br /> The safety and security of Hibiscus Children's Center residents and employees while being <br /> transported in a Hibiscus Children 's Center owned or leased vehicle is of the utmost priority. <br /> Hibiscus Children 's Center feels the same considerations apply for employees who drive their <br /> personal vehicles while conducting Hibiscus Children's Center business . <br /> DRIVER REQUIREMENTS — HIBISCUS CHILDREN ' S CENTER VEHICLES <br /> A. Approved Hibiscus Children ' s Center Drivers <br /> Hibiscus Children's Center requires employees to be approved as a Hibiscus Children 's <br /> Center driver by the Human Resources Department prior to driving on Hibiscus <br /> Children ' s Center business . Employees must meet the following qualifications: <br /> 1 . Possess a valid Florida driver's license for at least three years regardless of age; <br /> 2 . Be approved by the Agency's Insurance carrier. <br /> B . Unacceptable Drivers <br /> 1 . A driver with any one of the listed "Serious Violations" committed within three <br /> years ; <br /> 2 . A driver with more than two "Serious Violations' committed between three years <br /> and eight years ago; *Any driver with a past history, from 3-8 years old , with two <br /> to three "serious violations" will be considered marginal . See Section B1 on <br /> monitoring marginal drivers. <br /> 3 . A driver with any combination of accidents ( regardless of fault) and other moving <br /> violations which total three during the previous three years; *Any driver with a <br /> combination of two will be considered marginal . See Section B1 on monitoring <br /> marginal drivers. <br /> 4 . A driver with an international or foreign driver's license ; <br /> 5 . A driver licensed less than three years regardless of age; <br /> 6 . Florida law may require drivers to be re-licensed within a certain time frame (e.g . <br /> 30 days ) of their move to the state .
