How Win' the target population be made aware of the program? <br /> Since opening the doors of our Clubs we have had waiting lists for membership in our Clubs. Word of <br /> mouth from Club members and their parents is our biggest method of informing our target audience about <br /> our program. As a means to attract the teen population, our staff distgbutes flyers and gives presentations <br /> throughout the middle and high schools to promote involvement in the Club program. <br /> 6. How will the program be accessible to target population (i. e., location, transportation, <br /> hours of operation) ? <br /> Boys & Girls Clubs provide access to its members by locating Clubhouse facilities within walking or bike <br /> riding distance. Also, through our collaboration with the School District of Indian River County <br /> Transportation Department bus transportation from most schools to our Clubhouses is provided during the <br /> school year. Our school year hours are Monday — Friday immediately after school (usually 2:30 p.m.) until <br /> 7:00 p.m. During the summer and non-school days, we are open from 7 a.m. until 6 pm. <br /> 6 <br />
