<br />that the Board of County Commis
<br />sinners of Indian River County
<br />(Florida, has deemed it necessary
<br />Cto erect an addition to the County
<br />ourthouse and that at the next
<br />regular meeting of said Board
<br />such question or questions shall be
<br />acted upon by said Board and that
<br />if at said meeting a majority of
<br />this Board shall determine that it
<br />is necessary to erect said addition
<br />that then this Board may lawfully'
<br />levy a building tax not exceeding
<br />)five (5) hills per annum for not
<br />more than thirty (30) consecutive
<br />yeas in lieu of 'all ,other county
<br />building tax. All persons wishing to
<br />be heard Will be 'heard at the next

<br />The foregoing notice was read and the Chairman asked if there were any present
<br />who wished to be heard. There were none. The County Attorney then gave a brief statement
<br />as to what the County had in mind to build. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Hamilton,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was
<br />adopted:
<br />R E S O L U T I O N
<br />WHEREAS, this Board has heretofore adopted its Resolution deeming it necessary
<br />to eerect an addition to the County Courthouse to serve the purpose hereinafter named.; and,
<br />WHEREAS, public notice thereof was duly published in the Vero Beach Press Journal,
<br />a newspaper of general circulation, published in this county giving notice to the general
<br />public that this Board would consider said question or questions at the next regular meeting
<br />of this Board after publication of said Notice for thirty (30) days; and,
<br />WHEREAS, this Board has held said public hearing in accordance with said public
<br />notice at the time and place therin stated and has duly considered such questions; Now, there-
<br />fore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,
<br />that this Board does determine that it is necessary to erect an addition to the County Court -
<br />shouse, and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board shall annually, beginning with the year 1959
<br />and continuing for not more than thirty (30) consecutive years, levy a building tax not
<br />exceeding five (5) mills ger annum in lieu of all other County building tax for the purpose
<br />of providing funds for such construction as shall be annually found and determined by this
<br />Board to be necessary for such purpose and that this Board does herewith determine that no
