The Deputy Clerk read.the recommendations of the Planning and <br />-Zoning Commission, which were passed at their meeting of September 24th, <br />rand upon Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by•Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was'adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />That the large scale sheets numbered from 1B to l0E inclusive, <br />prepared by the County Engineer showing all of the areas zoned i4 <br />Indian River County except some of the western most areas all of which <br />is zoned agricultural, be herewith adopted by this Board as a true <br />and correct representation of the zoning in Indian River County as it <br />exists on this date, and that hereafter zoning changes made shall be <br />shown by changes upon this master zoning map of Indian River County <br />or shall be shown by supplemental maps to be attached to and made a <br />part of the master zoning map. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, public hearing was ordered before the <br />Zoning Board for a proposed rezoning from R-1, Single Family District to <br />C -1-A, Restricted Commercial District on the following described property: <br />All of Lots 9 to 21, inclusive of Gabler's Subdivision and that <br />part of the following described property lying West of Old Dixie <br />Highway: Beg. 294 feet S of NW corner of SW{, run East 27.83 <br />chains, S 146 feet, West 27.83 chains, N 146 feet to beg. less <br />land to Jones & McGuinness, in Sec. 12, Twp 33 S, Rge 39 East. <br />The Deputy Clerk stated that at the last meeting she had been <br />requested to look up the matter of a lease between the County and Mr. <br />N. V. Eve regarding the Old Winter Beach bridgehead, and that after <br />checking into the matter, found that there is no lease existing between <br />Mr. Eve and the County. After some discussion in the matter and upon <br />Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and carried, the Board requested that the Sheriff be notified to advise <br />Mr. Eve that he has no legal right on said property and that if he does <br />not permit the general public in and out that he will be required to move. <br />The verdict of the Coroner's Jury in the matter of the death of James <br />Richardson and the verdict of the Coroner's Jury in the matter of the <br />death of William Kuhnle was received and ordered filed. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been <br />audited, were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants <br />issued in settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in <br />the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued <br />from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book <br />as provided by the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record <br />and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statements, showing <br />receipts and disbursements of the various funds, which have been audited, <br />were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />CLERK <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
