The County Attorney presented the following letters of agreement <br />pertaining to U. S. #1 rights of way and upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the <br />following settlements were agreed upon. <br />N1 r. Horace Butler <br />Box 221 <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />In re: SRD Nos. 20 and 21 <br />Dear Horace: <br />This letter confirms our final agreement on your conveyance of <br />the above right of way. The County agrees to tear down the concrete block <br />garage and laundry building and rebuild it in the Southeast corner of your <br />lot facing the garage part to the West and the laundry part to the North. <br />In addition the county will move your house and place it on your Lot as you <br />desire and reestablish the same in a living condition as good as it existed <br />prior to moving. <br />If, in the course of rebuildin g the laundry and garage, . the things <br />In them now have to be moved, the County will take care of moving them <br />out, storing it and replacing it. I think the garage and laundry building <br />can be built without tearing down the old one and the things moved without <br />taking them out and storing them, however, whichever way it is done the <br />County will do it at it's expense. <br />The survey which we have indicates that five feet will be taken <br />off the West side of your Lot and in addition the Northwest corner will be <br />rounded off. The right of way and the moving will require taking out <br />several mangrove and citrus fruit trees. For the land, the trees and the <br />Inconvenience of moving and rebuilding the County will pay you $250.00. <br />In addition if when the lot is surveyed on theground it should develop that <br />we are taking more than five feet on the Hest line the County will pay you <br />at the rate of $10.00 per foot for any additional. <br />I understand that you have paid and the former mortgage to The <br />Indian River Citrus Bank has been satisfied of record and that you own the <br />property free and clear so all of the payments will go to you. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />r. :;Iau�te ,;reg <br />t Duce 1 <br />V:= ro Beach, Florida <br />In }�e: U. >*.
