0S <br /> � 5- 63 fa <br /> SECTION 00530 = EJCDC <br /> STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN OWNER AND CONTRACTOR <br /> ON THE BASIS OF A STIPULATED PRICE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT dated the day of i he year 2005 by and between Indian <br /> River County, a political subdi 'sion of the State of Florida (hereinafter called OWNER) and <br /> Underground Utilities, Inc. (hereinafter called CONTRACTOR) . <br /> OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth , <br /> agree as follows : <br /> ARTICLE 1 . WORK <br /> CONTRACTOR shall complete all work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents . The <br /> work is generally described as follows : <br /> The project anticipates the construction of approximately 2750 LF of 12" <br /> PVC/HDPE/DlP sewer force main on 77th Street/Hobart Road to divert flow <br /> from an existing 12 " force main at the Lateral "G " Canal directly to the North <br /> Wastewater Treatment Facility. Construction consists of, but is not limited <br /> to , utilities exploration , coordination with any permitting agencies , trenching , <br /> dewatering , installation of pipe with fittings and all appurtenances , <br /> restrainers , soil compaction , testing , private or public property replacement <br /> or repair, franchise utility repair, ROW restoration and traffic control . PVC <br /> pipe shall be green DR 18 C-900 , DIP pipe shall be Protecto 401 Lined <br /> Class 350/50 , and HDPE shall be green stripe DR 11 per Indian River <br /> County Utility Standards and Specifications . <br /> CONTRACTOR, as an independent contractor and not as an employee , shall furnish , for the sum <br /> amount of $_99 , 100 . 00 , all of the necessary labor, material , and equipment to perform the work <br /> described above in accordance with the Contract Documents , <br /> ARTICLE 2 .
